What we collect
If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, organisation and details about your setup. Like most websites, our hosting and security providers may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, request time and pages requested to operate and protect the service.
How we use it
We use contact information to reply to you, evaluate and support early-access work, maintain the website, and protect it from abuse. We do not sell personal information or use it to build advertising audiences.
EEA and UK legal bases
Where the GDPR or UK data-protection law applies, we process contact and technical information because it is in our legitimate interests to operate, secure and improve Speall and to respond to enquiries; to take steps at your request before entering an agreement or to perform an agreement with you; and, where needed, to comply with a legal obligation. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests by contacting us.
Cookies and tracking
The website stores a single preference in your browser when you choose light or dark mode. It does not use advertising cookies or third-party behavioural tracking. Our infrastructure providers may use essential cookies or equivalent technologies needed to deliver and secure the site.
When we share and transfer information
We share information only with service providers that help us host, secure or support Speall, when you ask us to, or when required to comply with law and protect people, property or our rights. Some providers may process information outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers. We do not share your contact details with advertisers.
Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including supporting our conversation with you and meeting legal obligations. No internet service is perfectly secure, but we use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we handle.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a portable copy of your personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. To make a request, email hello@speall.com. We may need to verify your request and may retain limited information where required by law or for legitimate security purposes. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
Controller, updates and contact
Speall is the controller for information covered by this policy. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@speall.com. We may update this policy as the product and its infrastructure evolve; the current version will always be posted here with its effective date.
